Happy Sunday Friend, During this week’s video I featured the third Austin Kleon book Steal Like an Artist, discussing how to embrace your creative nature, learn from others, and find what makes you unique. The book was a great read, and I would recommend it to anyone who is already performing creative/ knowledge work, as well as anyone who has creative passions that are unfulfilled. This week’s video came out later than typical for a few reasons, travelling, tech issues, and a family emergency. Five flights in four days meant I tried to condense my recording time to ensure the rough cuts were complete before travelling to Tampa for the weekend. Initially, I thought this was a success until I realized that not only did, I need to update the script, but the recordings were corrupted somehow. The next hurdle was to edit the video on the road, and my laptop decided to glitch when recording the updated script, among other things. But all the hurdles were cleared and I pressed on to get you the tips below. 🎨 This Week’s Top 5 Tips:With all the struggles happening this week for video production the best thing I can do here is just give you the tips:
✍️ Closing ThoughtsUsing these principles, I’ve embarked on an interesting YouTube and newsletter journey. I’ve been drawing inspiration from various creative souls, channeling my learnings into videos about books, creativity, productivity, and more. One practice that’s been transformative? Putting pen to paper. Whether it’s jotting down notes or sketching out concepts, the physical act has been a source of raw inspiration. ➰Stay in the Loop! Please feel free to share your thoughts on this week’s newsletter by leaving a comment. If you enjoyed this read, we’d appreciate a thumbs up or a share! We look forward to accompanying you on your journey toward self-improvement and success. 📖What’s Next?Next week, I will discuss Brett Crozier’s Surf When You Can. If there is something you want me to review, or if you have any questions or comments, shoot me an email. I work to reply to every email related to my YouTube channel and newsletter. Until next time, keep creating, keep sharing, and stay inspired. Thanks! -Cyle H. |

Let’s raise a glass (coffee or otherwise) to new beginnings, fresh ideas, and maybe some less questionable karaoke decisions this year. If you’ve been wondering where this newsletter wandered off to, you’re not alone. It’s been hibernating—but unlike the snacks I ate during the break, it’s not gone for good....
Happy Sunday Friend, 🗓️ The last couple of weeks were crazy with travel getting reestablished at work and home and starting on two new ideas that I’ll share with the group as they get closer to kicking off to the public. Unfortunately, my video plans for the last couple of weeks were dashed, but I will be returning this week. So what do I write about now? Well, one of the two ideas that I am working on is starting a small community outreach for disadvantaged kids in Washington, DC. 🔬My lovely...
